Not Mindfulness, Mindlessness

It’s funny how annoying the topic of meditation can be for me. Hearing others views on the matter is gruesome. Not because what they say is wack per se, although it is. It’s more because, they all say the same thing. It’s the trend. It’s not mindful. It’s mindless. In more ways than one.

I think previous generations had an easier way. Before the help me books exploded, earlier schools regarded suggestions and ideas verbalized as distrustful, even disrespectful. In the way of the truth, there is more than one way to the party.

Most people that meditate these days do it from their skull. Suggestions, ideas, question marks, dominate the psyche with contemporary students. It’s an error on an error. Letting go of mind does not involve mental awareness techniques.

Meditate not for mind. Meditate for the Soul.
