I was looking at myself living my life this morning and I thought, ‘what is this nonsense!?’
It’s time to pump the brakes.
This is not a brag but, I’m disciplined AF. More than not, it’s been helpful since I was young. However, the downsides speak of attachment to rhythms and self worth based on action. Not to mention knowing when not to push.
I’m choosing to slow down with what I can when I can. Slower rhythms, softer approaches.
The New Summer Schedule is a nice fit. It feels like a smooth groove, featuring joyous new classes and soothing tones.
It’s the Summer, it’s beautiful out, fucking finally!! What is the use of obsessing on beauty and surrounding ourselves with it, if we cannot enjoy it?
Last year around this time, I posted a piece called, ‘My Summer of Yin.’ It’s a fun little read with seasoned advice from the ancients on how to ride beautifully into the sunset. Give it a look!
Thanks for reading. See you in class.
