Morning Wake Up Challenge 


For those of you with a morning practice, try this:

Upon wake up…
Don’t look at the phone. 
Don’t talk to your lover, nor the dog. 
Just go to the bathroom. 
Then go right into your practice. 
No coffee. 
No chitchat.
Just straight into it. 

In between sleep consciousness and group consciousness, we have a brief but magnificent moment of opportunity. One beyond influence and habit. The minute you open your mouth or phone, it’s gone.
