Getting back to the studio
After two weeks away from the studio, we are back. I want to thank my senior student teachers who ran the outdoor sessions while the studio was closed. I also want to congratulate those who went to the outdoor classes and anyone who was able to practice independently (whether they sent proof or not).
It’s time to get back into the swing of things. The Schedule is back to it’s regular programming. If you haven’t been able to practice, or want to build on what you have been doing, sign up for a private session or group class. You can even send me a text or email with some of your reflections, and we can start to refine and build.
Summer vibes are still going strong, but September is just around the corner. Soak it up and smooth it out best you can. We all know the Fall is always full of beans.
Proved it!!

Congratulations to Vivian, our “Prove it” contest winner! She will receive a $20 QiBelly Gift Card to put to whatever class or private session she would like. Thank you to everyone who participated, but more importantly, kudos to everyone who kept up their practice during the past couple of weeks.
| In the last newsletter, I mentioned, “Although I’m taking a break from work, I never really stop practicing. I can’t. To me, everything is a practice.”I had a well needed break from The Dojo (our studio) while it was being repaired. During this time, my training was nourishing as well as explorative. I was able to find a lovely spot next to a river to practice my meditations. Ooh la la… Coming back into the city felt quite welcoming actually (except for the smog, haha, brutal). It’s good to be home!!Keep the engagement going…I may run more “contests” in the future, but the real point is not the monetary reward. Texting, emailing, sharing photos/videos directly with me or through social media, is an excellent way for you to move your practice from a class focus to an everyday mindset. The point is to make you stronger and more resilient, but more importantly, to have some fun. |
| It feels great to be back, let’s get together and move! |
